Help Ukrainian families who have lost their homes

Families escaping the war arrive with almost nothing. In our building in Chortkiv we give them a safe place to sleep, food, clothing and care, with priority for women and children.

Helping Ukrainian war refugees traveling west

We are their safe haven

We have begun taking in, feeding, sheltering and clothing families escaping from eastern Ukraine. We have very young children and older people who really need help. The children are traumatized by the non-stop sirens and explosions they have heard. These families come from places like Kharkiv, Mariupol, Sumy, Kherson, Chernihiv and the capital Kyiv. Most refugees are traveling to Poland. Some people cannot make it out, so we are their safe haven.

We give them a place to sleep and rest, and provide food and clothing. Because we are close to Poland, we can bring needed supplies quickly. Thank you all for your generous support, and may God bless you.

The Bethesda building · Chortkiv, Ternopil region

A home for families, and a place for kids to be kids again

Bethesda was built as a rehabilitation center for children with disabilities, started by members of Grace Evangelical Church in Columbus, Ohio. Today its 15,000 sq. ft. house many families who have fled the war.

For the children, it is more than a roof. It is a safe, fun place to play and get their minds off the war for a while. Your gift keeps the lights on, the beds made and the kitchen running, and helps finish the center for the children with disabilities it was built for.
